MV Logos Hope, the world’s largest floating book fair has returned and is currently docked at Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
Opened just days ago, June 9, MV Logos Hope will stay in Subic Bay until July 7 !
This is actually not the first time MV Logos Hope anchored our shores. It has visited the Philippines twice consecutively in 2012 and 2013 and also made rounds in Cebu, Palawan and Subic Bay.
This year, MV Logos Hope is once again navigating South East Asia. The world’s largest floating bookfair was just in Malaysia for the whole month of April before going to Cebu last May.
MV Logos Hope is definitely a haven for book lovers! Over 5,000 books are sold in this ship and good news is, it is said to be sold in a cheaper price.
An exhibit is also mounted for viewing and cultural shows can be enjoyed in the ship’s cafe. In fact, an International night was held yesterday in Harbour Point Mall in celebration of the 117th Philippine Independence Day.
This floating bookfair is operated by a German Christian charitable organization called GBA (Gute Bücher für Alle) Ships E.V, which in English translation is Good Books for All .
